A Lazy Moon

After just two games, my friends from the Lone Star State are complaining and thinking that the Texas Rangers just do not “look right” against the San Francisco Giants in this World Series. They have stopped hitting, and their best pitching is coming up short!

What is happening?

Well, I call them… the Alcatraz Giants. I mean really look at this rag tag bunch of misfits and hooligans. Look at their warden, Bruce Bochy. Their dugout looks like prison just let out. Who the heck IS Cody Ross anyway, and how long was he IN for? The beards in the bullpen are a sideshow in their OWN right. Horrible ugly beards… worse than the movie Gettysburg (a great Civil War flick based on a great book, The Killer Angels, but terrible beards). The problem here is that the beards can PITCH! The starters can pitch, and against the Rangers even the death row guys are hitting!

Just ask the Padres... ask the Braves... ask my Phillies... NONE of these teams “looked right” against these Giants....

I know there’s a ways to go, and Texas CAN snap back. However, I am seriously sensing a World Series championship for Alcatraz!
