I am also a published author. Who would have thought? Certainly not any of my old English teachers! A byline with my name on it would have them spinning circles.
Yes, writing has become a huge part of my life, and I hope that you have had the opportunity to read my work. I am especially honored to have written the story of my parents in G.I. Joe and Lillie.
I am almost 55 years old as of this writing. God has blessed me with a wonderful career, a special wife and soul mate, great friends, and a wonderful family as well as hit books, hit records, and most importantly, good health.
I give God the honor, praise, and glory for all that He has done for me in my life. As I have written many times, America is the greatest country on the face of the planet. A place where a street kid from Philly could not only dream, but with some hard work, sacrifice, and perseverance, live out those dreams.
I am very thankful. (JSB)
