Needless to say it was a real honor for the Boys to, once again, be on the trail with President Bush in York, Pennsylvania, on Friday. I am certain we will take part in other such events.
Yes....... we performed a handful of songs.
Yes....... there was a HUGE crowd.
Yes....... the President was really glad to see us and made us feel like a million bucks for being there.
And YES....... his speech was cutting edge and right on the money for America.
But what meant the most to me was to be there on the day after so many celebrities stood up for John Kerry in New York City and blasted George W. Bush, as well as this nation, with the most underhanded and negative barrage of insults that I have ever heard.
Never in history have I heard so much trash unloaded on anyone, let alone a sitting American President. Foul language, bad movies, insults, and degrading remarks, one right after another. Then to top it all off, Senator Kerry says that we are hearing from the heart and soul of America!!!!
I think not!!!
CU in November, Mr. Mellencamp, Ms. Streep, Mr. Bon Jovi, and all of the other big mouths!!
